The SCALA 3PL Best Practice Forum is working with PhD student Orsolya-Anna Máté from Warwick University, who is currently undertaking a study exploring how 3PLs can drive the transition to a circular UK economy.
Anna is keen to hear from other UK 3PLs to find out what activities are currently being undertaken in the industry to aid the transition towards a circular economy and to discuss what more 3PLs believe could be done. As Anna states:
“In the intricate web of supply chains, 3PLs play a pivotal yet often overlooked role. They act as the connecting tissue, enabling circular opportunities and fostering collaboration among diverse actors. It’s crucial to recognise their pivotal role and broaden our perspective beyond manufacturers in this transition”
