SCALA has enhanced and systemised its industry-leading annual benchmarking service, to assist businesses in better serving their customers amidst the ongoing cost of living crisis.
SCALA’s annual benchmarking service allows businesses of all sizes to compare performance with similar and competing organisations from their own market sector and complementary industries. The service compares more than 40 key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecasting, inventory, customer service, primary and secondary transport, warehousing costs, and performance ratios.
Having been honed and built upon over nearly two decades, SCALA’s benchmarking offering has now been fully-systemised through a new partnership with SaaS cloud analytics platform KWEEVO. Through this partnership, SCALA Best Practice members will have access to a customised dashboard, fed by a robust automated data pipeline, driving instant insight generation and eliminating long and complex manual data operations.
Access to the Benchmarking service is offered to all SCALA’s Best Practice members, which currently comprise more than 30 leading organisations across the grocery, homeware and home appliance industries. The benchmarking service offers Best Practice members the capability to identify the areas in which they, and businesses across their industry, are currently performing well, as well as where there is room for improvement, such as efficiencies of supply, costs and levels of service.
