SCALA has appointed an experienced Turkish consultant to lead projects for clients looking to undertake operations in Turkey. The strategic partnership will expand the business’ expert international offering, which already spans countries such as Australia, China and the US.
SCALA Turkey is designed to support UK and continental European companies with their operations in Turkey, advise Turkish-owned companies on their logistics, and aid companies looking to move into the Turkish third-party logistics (3PL) market via acquisition.
Ideally located between Europe and Asia, offering highly skilled labour at lower costs, and showing good signs for international trade growth, Turkey offers supply chain and logistics opportunities that many European businesses are not already embracing.
To launch the partnership, consultant and lead for SCALA Turkey, Eyüp Soner, has developed an insightful review of the Turkish market, with a particular focus on logistics service providers in the strategic supply chain territory. The report, which can be requested by SCALA clients, evaluates the extensive acquisition and partnership opportunities available in the region for European and UK-based businesses. It underlines the potential solution that setting up operations in Turkey could offer retailers and manufacturers trading globally who may be facing rising costs and disruption, due to geopolitical and economic issues.
