Eleven small and medium 3PLs joined us this week in Leicester for the latest meeting of the SCALA 3PL Best Practice Forum.
Our delegates took full advantage of a fairly rare opportunity to chat with senior industry peers in an informal environment as well as benefitting from engaging discussion sessions with:
⚪ SCALA Associate and data-driven expert Kirsten Tisdale, who provided a valuable update on the state of the market and the inflationary factors impacting on the supply chain
⚪Evata co-founder Shakeel Ali, who introduced Evata’s digital platform which not only facilitates decarbonisation through fleet electrification for businesses by making a bookable, affordable charging infrastructure a reality but also provi des potential revenue opportunities
⚪ PhD student Orsolya-Anna Máté from Warwick University, who is currently undertaking a fascinating investigation into the role of 3PLs in the Circular Economy
⚪ Two of our SCALA clients and members of our Grocery and Home Appliance and Homeware Best Practice Forums, who provided a very comprehensive and honest perspective on the challenges of the first twelve months in supply chain following transition to a new 3PL
All in all it was a fabulous day of learning, sharing and discussion. SCALA’s Best Practice Forums provide an easy but valuable way to “bring the outside in” for businesses and we’re delighted to invite any small and medium 3PLs interested to get in touch to find out more.
