This client offers a wide range of developing services in the parcels, packets and mail sectors. SCALA had been previously engaged by the client on two projects 1) to review the site operational capabilities and capacities, and 2) to optimise their logistics network. The purpose of this project was to evaluate the logistics impact of two different acquisitions
Project Approach
The project approach combined;
To work with our client and under strictest NDA agreements the two potential organisations to be acquired
To obtain detailed data and operational/customer requirements understanding from the two potential acquired companies
Detailed modelling of both scenarios for both possible acquisitions
To fully evaluate those two operations to assess the logistics requirements

- Integrated into our client’s own infrastructure
