It was great to see everyone again for our Summer Supply Chain Best Practice Forum meeting in Leicester.
Another packed day of supply chain discussions, learning, problem-solving and discovery.
Many thanks to all our guests for providing a host of really interesting and useful sessions across the day:
⚪ Supply Chain Director Nick Cornwell provided an overview of Co-Op’s supply chain to our Grocery members
⚪ Laura Milillo and Miguel Rodrigues from GS1 joined us to talk about supply chain standards and the new Digital Product Passport
⚪ James Della Valle and Alessandro Attanzio from BoxxDocks demonstrated their revolutionary AI-driven technology to support asset tracking and supply chain visibility
⚪ James Garman from VOLTEMPO presented on new opportunities around fleet electrification and autonomous vehicles
⚪ Peter Sand from Xeneta provided an insight into the impact current global events are having on Ocean Freight.
Alongside all this, it was gratifying as always to see some great cross-sector conversations taking place between the Grocery, Homeware and 3PL members.
Our next meeting takes place in October – if you’d be interested in finding out more about any of our groups and joining the discussion, please get in touch.
