SCALA Annual Supply Chain Debate 2017

We’re happy to announce the date of 2017’s SCALA Annual Debate, taking place this year on July 6th. The Debate is a great opportunity for senior industry leaders and professionals to discuss the key issues of the year, and this will be our 14th year of running this highly successful event which attracts top speakers and 150 senior professionals to meet up in the stunning marquee and grounds of historic Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire. Last year’s topic of “What were the Key Supply Chain Priorities for 2016-17” drew Director and Senior Management speakers from  ASDA, John Lewis,  Connect+, Toyota , BT and General Mills  as well as Ocean, a major Chinese company who highlighted the opportunities “Brexit” raised for UK companies wishing to do business with China.  Please see

Our sponsors include Toyota MHIndigo WMS, AutoLogic Systems, Microlise, and more, and we’re truly looking forward to hearing from our esteemed speakers. With so much going on in the industry currently, especially in the wake of certain political undercurrents, we thing our 2017 Debate may just be our best one yet. Our topic this year is “Today’s Supply Chain: Competitive Advantage or Support Function?”, examining the relationship between the two polarising viewpoints in the industry.
