The finals of the SCALA Fresh Connection UK 2011 competition were held on the 7th July where the top 9 teams from a field of over 40 were pitted against each other to take the title of Supply Chain Champions. Participants of the highly acclaimed business simulation included Jordans & Rivita, Kimberly Clark, Accolade Wines, Muller Brands but in third place came the Swiss Log and Heinz team followed by second place La Pallet Rouge and finally the clear winners, Mars UK.
The programme which is also being run in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia will culminate with the International Final in September in Pisa, Italy, where the Mars UK team will compete with their trip provided courtesy of SCALA.
